Using Power Apps, you can quickly build custom business apps that connect to your business data, stored either in the underlying data platform Common Data Service or in various online and on-premises data sources SharePoint, Excel, Office , Dynamics , SQL Server, and so on.
Power Automate allows enterprises to implement automated workflows and business processes and achieve operational efficiencies. A collection of software services, apps, and connectors that work together to turn your unrelated sources of data into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights.
Your data may be in an Excel spreadsheet or in a collection of cloud-based and on-premises hybrid data warehouses. Power Virtual Agents empowers teams to easily create powerful bots using a guided, no-code graphical interface without the need for data scientists or developers. It easily integrates bots with hundreds of apps and services using pre-built connectors and allows the ability to create custom workflows with Power Automate, enabling bots to take action on behalf of customers.
It allows users to monitor and continuously improve bot performance using AI- and data-driven insights available in an easy-to-read dashboard. The type of license to purchase depends on the level of access they need.
This requires each user to have their own login. Those with User SL may access the service through multiple devices. The User SL is classified into three sub-types of licenses:. These are the users whose work requires use of feature-rich business application functionality. Examples of full users are salespeople, customer service representatives, finance employees, controllers, and supply chain managers.
These users have also been referred to in the past as Professional Users or Power Users. The method of deployment determines applicable licensing models. The licensing model also does not support device based subscription licenses. The service providers package the CRM functionality in a solution they sell directly to end customers. In the case of an on-premises deployment, the business application software is sold to customers through a Microsoft licensed reseller.
Additional storage add-on and Additional instance add-on licenses are subscription licenses. Device based licenses are currently not supported. The license includes access to the default Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online instance included in the subscription, and every Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online additional instance associated with the same subscription account. As long as the customer is current on the subscription payments for the service, the customer will have access to the most up-to-date version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online.
Since the service provides the latest and greatest features, there is no need for a customer to purchase Software Assurance to complement the USL.
A step-up USL allows Microsoft Dynamics CRM On-Premise customers to protect the investments that they have made in Microsoft licensing, and permit them to maintain perpetual rights for the duration of their service agreement. The step-up USL model includes two parallel agreements:. Customers are required to continue to maintain and renew their corresponding Software Assurance agreements on their perpetual Client Access Licenses in order to maintain Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online step-up rights.
If a customer chooses not to renew the associated Software Assurance agreement, the customer loses the right to purchase the step-up User Subscription License and will be required to purchase a User Subscription License to retain online service access rights. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online customer does not need to purchase additional licenses for external users who access the Service without using any of the software.
