Length of Program: 1 or 2 years, program begins summer quarter for up to eight 8 quarters Number of Positions: Maximum of per year Program Director: Dr. Francisco Ramos-Gomez The Pediatric Dentistry Advanced Clinical Training Program is designed for foreign-trained dentists who wish to return to an academic setting for short periods of time to supplement the knowledge and experiences gained from earlier training and subsequent professional experiences.

The admissions committee considers the following criteria in its decisions: Academic standing during dental training English proficiency Content of confidential reports Future plans A letter of acceptance signed by the Program Director and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs will be issued upon acceptance. Program Fee Schedule year. Initial payment due.

Provide dental services for segments of the population which are currently underserved, including medically compromised, mentally and physically challenged, pediatric, adult, and geriatric individuals;. Enhance the understanding of and provide experience in practice administration, including communication and management skills;.

This program also strongly encourages the participation and recruitment of ethnic minority students. Residents gain clinical experience and advanced training in all aspects of general dentistry including operative dentistry, removable and fixed prosthodontics, periodontics, prevention, endodontics, oral surgery, and anesthesia and pain control.
