Windowscare v2 download

Features beyond system cleaning include Registry tools that claim to speed up Internet access. And how about a screen-capture program and wallpaper randomizer on top of that? Given that Super Utilities has 27 tools for cleaning and optimizing your PC, you're sure to find a module that you want.

Included are a startup organizer, a Registry cleaner, defragmentation tools, antispyware features, and much more. This excellent no-cost tool promises one-click cleanup and optimization, and it delivers. It scans your system for problems with the Registry, shortcuts, startup programs, and spyware, and then gives you the option of which to clean up. It also deletes traces of your Internet surfing and erases temporary files. Optimization doesn't get simpler than this.

But, I supposed interface isnt enough to judge a program on. Darn, the numbers at the end change. When I started my last post, the last one was After I posted, it had become I ran the must current update of the Personal version, then download the new Pro version installed to a separate directory and ran it. On the surface they look identical That is "Auto Mode". Instead, use the "Show details" for each category.

That way you can deselect things you don't want changed. Security Defense has me puzzled. It showed an additional " items unprotected". I let it apply all of these "imunizations". OK, puzzle me this. I ran the Pro version, applied the fixes, then reran it again.

Didn't run anything else. So why did the same number of "unprotected items", , showed up both times?!? Being generous, it might be a program bug. Being paranoid, it sounds like malware giving false positives trying to sell "upgrades". But since this is the full version already no additional functions available if we buy it , that doesn't sound reasonable. I dunno. System Analysis found the items I had chosen not to update on the last run Good, that is what I expected. But it also found a couple of new items.

One thing I dislike is that it shows the registry key values, not their meaning. Now I either disable the change yes or go hunting the internet for the meaning Please display the meanings, not just the actual value! I'll keep using it until the expiry date, then probably go back to the free version. I hope so. I do understand that program version updates won't happen, I'm OK with that those are the terms of this site afterall , BUT malware signatures have to be updated!

I downloaded the Pro version last time it was offered, but ended up removing it because it "expired". But I have used the Personal version since then, and I have like what it does. I'll give this one another try at least until the expiry date. The registry is a big complex, obtuse database. Programs make entries that often are not removed when no longer needed ie after the initial install, installation instructions could be removed if there is no repair option.

By deleting entries that no longer point valid programs ie those that have been uninstalled you can reduce the size, and complexity, of the registry. That allows it to be read faster after you have defragmented the registry. What is "Immunization"? One form of immunization is adding entries to your Internet Explorer "History" key.

These entries point to "bad" websites. But the entry has an associated value the blocks access to the site. But, at first glance it appears that you have been a very bad person who spends most of their live at unsavory websites.

The Microsoft Knowledge Base entry describes this. Eventually they will stop, it happened to me with an older version. The point that other people have made, an anti-malware virus, spyware, rootkit, etc program that is not get new signatures is worse than useless. It gives you a false sense of security. That said, the other functions, ie registry scan will still work.

As others have said, in general, when using a tool like this don't let them go automatic. You'll probably be sorry. For example, in this program do the "Scan", then click on "Show Details" for each category. Then scroll through the list of entries. If you don't understand what it is going to do, think twice about letting it happen. Try googling for the registry key or file name and see what others have to say.

It can be slow, but it is safer. Truly great software. And don't pay any attention to the whiners or people who can't seem to be able to read a few comments before posting. I had been using the Personal version for a few months and it was an excellent addition to my arsenal. Now, with the capability to update definitions and possibly future program revisions, I am even more satisified than I had been with the Personal version.

The download was clean and the program activated and installed perfectly. I ran a complete scan of my system and reviewed all results before repairing. I trusted all results and repaired same. My system is again immunized, but with updated definitions, and is running in excellent fashion. As anticipated, there has not been a single glitch.

I can only surmise that those who are having trouble with this program are either not following the proper installation proceedures, or possess computer systems which have been so terribly neglected to report as many problems. OR, they are hired by competing software companies to denigrate IObit and this otherwise quality software program : In any event, Advanced WindowsCare v2 Professional works like a charm for me.

Again, thanks for all the good! Thank You iobit. It fixed hundreds of problems on my pc and it's much faster now. Also, thanks for the additinal 3 months free updates. You didn't have to do that, but you did. It's much appriciated. But i can't believe how many people keep complaining that this expires in 3 months.

Do you know how to read, people? I quickly realized that it doesn't expire in 3 months, just the definitions updates. People just need to take a little time before spazzing out.

Thanks again for this great software!! I will recommend this to my friends. All rights reserved. Patent Pending. No, thanks Yes, I'd like to. Don't miss all the cool giveaways.

Rebootedf and tried again - same thing. Have now gone back to 2. I tried 2. Mine did same thing when I first installed on Win , but when I re-installed everything was fine. Worked OK first time on XP. Running v 2. I just updated signature data base After that AWC would not open. I checked errorlog. I re-installed and all seems fine now. I ran the latest beta on my laptop and my desktop and both complete akk scans and the repair without any problems. I tried installing Advanced WindowsCare v2 Personal 2.

I deleted the installation folder before thinking to check for an error log. Downloaded from Major Geeeks , maybe a problem with the file download getting corrupted , or my system.

I downloaded the 15 day Pro Trial version from the IObit download page , it installed fine though , minutes after the v2 Personal 2. I think there is something wrong with your network. The full size of the installation file is 4. I upgraded to the latest version of AWC 2.

I have uploaded 2 screenshots. One where it hangs forever and the other with the version. Can you fix this? I have not experienced this before. Great work! You can try it and check which part is hangs up. Here is the errorlog. Premium Upgrade. Editors' Review eddietheecho Oct 29, Pros: Lots of tools: IOBit's everything-but-the-kitchen-sink approach to Advanced SystemCare means you're bound to find something useful for your machine in its massive library of tools, tweakers, and cleaners.

Cons: Lackluster redesign: Claims of a Metro-friendly redesign amount to nothing more than color changes, font tweaks to a thinner sans-serif type, and icon packs. Bottom Line: At first glance, Advanced SystemCare has everything you would think you'd ever need to keep a PC in tip-top shape: uninstallers, driver updaters, and so on.
