Now, there are several sims you can move into town at Star Level 2. Finish your star level 1 sims tasks first. After that, move in a couple Star Level 2 commercial sims. This leads to a large prospecting area with the following essences: -Magic Carpet -Music Note -Soccer Ball Near the entrance to the forest, break the boulders leading to the orange tree.

Now you can "legitimately" reach them! When you first reach the desert you'll see several vacant lots. A small, dried orchard just north of these has a Sunflower tree. These are some of my favorite essences. There are three in each area, 1 corresponding to each essence type. The best thing though is that instead of providing textures and colors, each of these six essences paints an object translucent! Inside are two ghost trees: -Ghost duplicate Head south in the desert. A small ridge half-way down holds three citrus trees: -Orange duplicate -Lemon -Lime There is a small prospecting area in the ruins in the southern part of the map. Its worth checking out, but some of the essences are a little rare: -Elephant -Hopi Doll -Puppy -Tiger Just north of this area, on the side of the wall of the plateau is a small cave entrance.

All of the Star Level 3 sims have some essences that can be annoying or tedious to get your hands on. First, finish off moving in all the Star Level 2 commercial Sims and complete their tasks. The best Star Level 3 sim is probably Dolly Dearheart.

She gives you the Costume Chest blueprint in her first task. However, Goth Boy and Chef Watanabe have the easiest tasks of the group to complete. There are only a handful of places to use this on, so lets get to it and uncover those new essences! Again, first head into the forest. In the center of the pond is a locked gate to blowtorch. Break it down and enter the tree. You'll find two checkered trees that have Pawn and Rook essences.

Another locked gate outside past the prospecting area across the river gives you the Knight essence. Use the blowtorch on the locked gate in the southeast to open up 3 new land plots and two! The southern one gives you Beachballs and Gold. There are a TON of geeky essences here. Make sure you collect them all. Prospecting in the first area gives you: -Globe -Pencil Prospecting in the second area: -Alien -Rocket -Star Finally, head into the cave in the back to find three geeky trees.

After you harvest their essences at least once, melt down at least one to earn the metal essence too! You should have all 84 essences now! All that is left to do is complete the tasks for everyone. If you have any remaining Star Level 2 or 3 tasks to complete, you should finish them, then move in the super cool Star Level 4 commercial sims. They're all pretty even in the difficulty of their tasks.

Once you complete these you've earned You won't meet any more Commercial Sims, but you can move in all the new and great Star Level 5 townies. One of the more rewarding tasks at this point in the game is to find all six "UBER" townies. There is one for each essence category in the game.

To earn interest change all the items in the town to reflect that category. If you want to unlock Samurai Bob, for instance, you would make everything in the town very Studious. Studious houses, studious trees, studious furniture for your sims. The more the better! Once you've reached that goal, you'll receive a message that a special visitor is in the hotel. Usually the blueprint uses larger blocks. You can fit more in if you break the pieces up.

You're not limited to just the blueprint. Feel free to add extra pieces to the design and color those with essences as well. These can be any size or shape you like. Essences can easily be pasted onto the object as little flairs.

Marshall will authorize player's Sim to use the blowtorch as well to destroy metal walls that were found in the desert and the forest previously, however, this Star Level will not bring any more blocks to the Workshop. This is the lowest friendship level, so even though a Sim may dislike you alot, from you being mean to them or taking away their beloved furniture, the friendship level will remain at acquaintance, as there is no friendship level called "enemy".

When being nice to them, they will appreciate the friendliness, but they will be a bit awkward, such as Geeky Sims shrugging when Being Nice to them at acquaintance level. If you do not get along with the Sim, they may get angry at you Being Nice to them. The friend status is when you have pleased a Sim but not fully. This status may be reached by being nice numerous times, or by giving them a few pieces of furniture.

If you are mean to a Sim, their status may drop back to acquaintance. Nothing really special happens when reaching this level of friendship, but the Sims will react more nicely to your "Be nice" actions with them.

If you are nice to them often, you may reach up to best friend status and receive an award. The best friend status means you and a certain Sim are really close, and good friends. Reaching this level of friendship will award you with either an outfit, by Commercial Sims or a special blueprint, by Townie Sims. Uber Sims often award both. However, if you are mean at least once or take away something they like, the friendship level will drop back down to friend, but of course, the friendship level may be regained easily if you didn't go too far in taking away the friendship.
